Comprised of professional and student researchers, our research team works collaboratively to understand, process, and relay information to the Steering Committee and the wider Amherst community. Depending on the research tasks at hand, team members work closely with the College’s Archives & Special Collections, local and regional historical societies/repositories, and community partners both on and off campus.
The research team is led by Julia Carroll and Allen Hart. Our 2024/25 student research assistants include Joline Fong (’26), Ethan Lin (’27), and Kamil Mahmood (’27).
